UX Probleme der Blockchain Technologie

Alec schrieb auf Medium Artikel über "Current UX Issues of the Blockchain Technology". Er spricht wichtige Punkte an, jedoch fehlt oft Kontext. Wir möchten kurz versuchen hier mehr Kontext zu geben.

• "The same thing goes within the blockchain. I don’t think people really “need” the technology, but I am sure people need technology outcomes — freedom, trust, and privacy. ...And the issue of a blockchain adoption is in the user experience." - Andree @blended: Er macht ein gültiges Argument, fügt aber nicht hinzu, dass Freiheit und Privatsphäre das Ergebnis sein können, wenn man die Technologie überhaupt hat.
• "Technology should follow existing user behaviors and habits instead of reimagining user experience — that could make it successful" - Andree @blended: Das Nutzerverhalten - wie Alec allgemein darüber schreibt - ist nicht das Ergebnis von Technologie. Jedoch hängt das Nutzerverhalten in Bezug auf Produkte und Tools natürlich von der zugrunde liegenden Technologie ab.
• "Seems like this it could bring large value for a user, but jargon raises the wall of a misunderstanding between technology and user experience." - Andree: Jargon hilft in der Tat nicht. Aber es ist auch wichtig zu beachten, dass dieser Fachjargon es für die frühen Anwender und Innovatoren attraktiv macht, aber natürlich nicht für den Mainstream.
• "...use blockchain-specific terminology only in absolute need. Yes, it is trendy, but if you are trying to reach a wider audience, use words that people are familiar with." - Andree: Es geht nicht um Trends. Es ist eine wichtige Möglichkeit, den Besuchern zu zeigen, worum es bei einem Produkt geht.
• "Some people could say that it does not matter, you can copy and paste this lengthy string, this is done for privacy and security, etc. Still, it is all about ease of use — domain names are way more readable than IP addresses, you can easily remember godaddy.com instead of 104.238.65.160." - Andree: Absolut gültiger Punkt. Es wird aber einige Zeit dauern.
• "To make changes, you need to get an agreement among all stakeholders, all smart contract participants." - Andree: Nur für die zugrunde liegende Chain, nicht für Produkte oder Dienstleistungen, die auf dieser Chain aufgebaut sind.
• "Then you pay bitcoins (or, it is better to say, fractions of a bitcoin). And then real life happens — you wait for at least 30 minutes and pay commission on a top of your $4 cup of a cold coffee." - Andree: Dies ist ein sehr oberflächliches Beispiel. Nach unserer Erfahrung würden nur Geschäfte, die eine "nerdige" Zielgruppe haben, diese Option anbieten, wissentlich, dass es eine kostspielige Option ist.
